How to nominate yourself or a colleague
The IT Nation Award encompasses various categories to celebrate different types of IT excellence. We have IT admin and security categories for those working in IT operations, and MSP, dev lifecycle business and general IT categories for those working across various industries. In addition, we have five unique categories for professionals with an extra specialization: Architect of the Future, Privacy Preference, Pixel Perfect Designer of the Year, Phenomenal Project Manager and Terrific Tester. Each one of these categories is specifically designed to honor the best in their field. We have included a range of categories to cover as many different types of IT professionals as possible, so there’s an opportunity for everyone.
Winners will be chosen in six categories:
- IT Admin.
- Security.
- Support.
- Managed Service Providers.
- Dev Lifecycle Business.
- General.
Within each category, three to five awards are up for grabs. For example, name yourself Architect of the Future for designing and implementing extraordinary cloud solutions using AWS, Azure or Google Cloud.
Nominations are open to all IT admin and information security professionals. To nominate yourself or your colleague, visit the IT Nation Award website and fill out the nomination form with basic details. That’s it – no lengthy application forms or application fees. So, don’t be shy and nominate yourself or your colleague to be in the running for an IT Nation Award.
Your peers choose the winner
Winners will be chosen by popular vote. After all, your peers are the ones who know you — and the IT field — best. By putting the voting in the hands of the community, peers will have a chance to recognize, nominate and network with each other.
Timeline and award
Nominations open in March 2024 and close in May 2024. Voting will take place until December 2024, and results will be announced in December 2024.
Winners will be able to show off social media badges and promotions to help network with peers and celebrate after the event. This will include being featured in a winner’s blog and sound on TechRepublic and CloudAlly websites. In addition, a physical award will be sent to the winner to display on your work desk.
